SUMMARY OF TERMS & CONDITIONS
14th Avenue Wine, Bar and Restaurant – Kigali, Rwanda
1. Reservations
Reservations are subject to availability and confirmation.
Accurate contact information is required.
The restaurant may modify or cancel bookings when necessary.
2. Deposits & Payments
A 50% deposit is required for groups, events, or high-value bookings.
All bills must be settled before leaving the premises.
3. Cancellation & No-Show
Standard cancellations: allowed up to 24 hours before.
Groups/events: 48–72 hours cancellation notice.
Late cancellations or no-shows result in loss of deposit.
4. Arrival & Conduct
A 15-minute grace period applies to reservations.
Seating preferences are not guaranteed.
Misconduct, intoxication, or safety violations may lead to refusal of service or eviction.
5. Dress Code
No formal dress code, but offensive or inappropriate attire may be refused.
6. Food & Beverage
Outside food and beverages are not allowed without approval.
Approved items may incur additional fees.
Allergies must be communicated in advance, though an allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed.
7. Corkage Fees
Corkage fees apply per bottle for approved outside beverages:
Champagne: 50,000 RWF
Spirits: 35,000 RWF
White/Red Wines: 35,000 RWF
Unauthorized outside beverages may lead to refusal of service.
8. Wine & Alcohol Service
Alcohol served only to Guests 18+, ID may be required.
Service may be refused in cases of intoxication or safety concerns.
9. Events & Private Bookings
Require a 50% deposit, sometimes full prepayment.
Deposits for events are non-refundable unless the restaurant cancels.
Damages during events are charged to the contracting party.
10. Photography & Photoshoot Policy
Personal photos with smartphones are allowed after placing food orders if they do not disturb others.
Professional photoshoots require booking 2 days in advance, with:
25,000 RWF per person consumable deposit
50,000 RWF venue + photographer pass (non-consumable) for 2 hours
Unauthorized professional shooting may be stopped immediately.
11. Children
Children are welcome but must be supervised.
Some areas may be adults-only.
12. Liability
The restaurant is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings.
Liability applies only when negligence is legally established.
13. Privacy
Personal data is handled in line with Rwandan data-protection standards.
14. Updates
Terms & Conditions may be amended at any time.
The latest version displayed by the restaurant is the binding version.
16. Reviewer Appreciation & Bonus Policy
16.1. The Restaurant may, from time to time, offer non-conditional appreciation bonuses, rewards, or loyalty benefits to Guests who engage with our feedback channels.
16.2. Any bonus or reward offered shall be voluntary and not contingent on providing a positive or favorable review. Guests may leave honest feedback of any nature (positive, neutral, or negative) and still qualify for appreciation rewards.
16.3. The Restaurant shall not request, require, or pressure Guests to post positive reviews in exchange for compensation, as prohibited by online platform policies and consumer-protection principles under Rwandan law.
16.4. Where rewards are provided (e.g., complimentary drink, discount voucher, or loyalty points), such rewards are given after feedback is submitted and without influencing the content of the review.
16.5. The Restaurant reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any reviewer appreciation program at its discretion.
16.6. Fraudulent reviews, manipulation, or misuse of the appreciation program may result in disqualification from bonuses and, where applicable, recovery of improperly obtained benefits.
